A woman has died after a large emergency service response near a cliff.
Police have said a woman in her 70s died near cliffs in Peacehaven yesterday afternoon following a welfare concern.
Officers were joined by paramedics from the South East Coast Ambulance Service and HM Coastguard on the undercliff walk at around 2.45pm, however she was confirmed to have died at the scene.

Her next of kin have been informed and police confirmed there were "no suspicious circumstances."
A spokesman for Sussex Police said: "Emergency services were called to cliffs at Peacehaven at around 2.45pm on Thursday, October 12, to concerns for the welfare of a woman."
"A woman in her 70s was sadly confirmed dead at the scene. Her next of kin have been informed.
"There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances."
