A person had to be freed from their car by firefighters after a crash involving a car and van on the A259.
The crash happened last night at around 10pm near Percival Terrace in Kemp Town, Brighton.
A Peugeot car and Ford van were involved in the crash.
A spokeswoman for East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were called at 10pm to Percival Terrace.

“Two vehicles had been involved in a collision.
“Crews used cutting gear to release one person.
“First aid was given to one person.”
Sussex Police were approached for comment.
