A city centre road has been reopened after it was closed for more than 36 hours following a fatal stabbing.
Queen's Road, Brighton, was closed from the bus stops outside the station down to the junction with North Road while police investigated the stabbing of 17-year-old Mustafa Momand.
The incident took place on Thursday, October 5, at around 5pm and the road was closed shortly after.
This morning, the road reopened to traffic. Buses which use the road have returned to their normal routes.
There is no longer a police presence at the scene and cordons and tents which were in place have been removed.
Floral tributes to the victim have been left on the corner of Queen's Road at Frederick Place.
A 16-year-old who was arrested on suspicion of murder remains in custody.
