Brighton College has been named as one of the best private schools in the world according to the newest rankings.
The prestigious college was ranked as the 15th best senior private school in the UK according to the Carfax Schools Index.
The Schools Index also found Brighton College’s Abu Dhabi offshoot to be the best private school in the Middle East as both were placed in the top schools worldwide.
Richard Cairns, headmaster at Brighton College, said: “Brighton College is delighted to be named one of the world’s top private schools.
“This is testament to our wonderful teachers who inspire our pupils daily, and the exceptional children who are at the heart of everything we do, all underpinned by a culture of kindness and innovation.

“We are thrilled to achieve this recognition from the Carfax Schools Index yet again.”
The Carfax Schools Index ranks private schools worldwide and placed Brighton College within the top 125 sites worldwide.
Brighton College was also previously named in the top 20 private schools in the UK in 2022.
Fiona McKenzie, head of education at Carfax Education, said: “Demand for excellent schools remains high and is still fiercely competitive, as parents strive to ensure their child receives the strongest foundations to set them up for a lifetime of success.”
