Sussex’s final Wilko stores will close next month after the collapse of the retailer.
Four stores which are yet to shut their doors are now slated to close by October 8 after attempts to save the business from going under failed.
While many of the Wilko’s in Sussex have already closed, stores in Horsham, Worthing, Eastbourne and Burgess Hill now have around a fortnight before they shut for good.
Announcing the closures, administrators PwC confirmed that the final 111 stores would close over the space of a week.
Wilko in The Guildbourne Centre in Worthing will close on October 5 as will the stores in The Beacon in Eastbourne and in Burgess Hill.
