The Royal Pavilion ice rink returns to the city next month.
Work to construct Brighton's annual festive outdoor attraction will begin soon.
The rink will be open to skaters from Saturday, October 28, until January 7 and tickets will be available to buy from October 2.
Thousands of people take to the ice each year in the gardens of the Royal Pavilion to enjoy an evening in the impressive grounds.
Planning permission has been granted for the rink, a bar and restaurant, toilets, skate exchange, a learner's ice rink and atmospheric lighting and the attraction has begun its search for staff.

The rink is powered exclusively by green energy - wind, wave and solar.
Tickets for 45-minute skate sessions start at £11 for those aged 12 and over and from £9 for those under 12.
Penguin skate aids are available for children up to 1.2 metres tall at a cost of £5 and can also be booked online.
