Disney has opened the vault to reveal a list of 30 places across the globe which have inspired some of its most loved films, including one location in the county.
Better known as the Hundred Acre Wood, the Ashdown Forest in East Sussex, is home to A. A. Milne’s Winnie The Pooh which was animated by Disney in a number of films and TV programmes.
The Hundred Acre Wood plays an integral part in the story, as Pooh and friends love to play in the woods, even playing pooh sticks at Pooh Bridge.
As the Walt Disney Company nears its 100th birthday in October, it revealed a full list of landmarks and locations which inspired classic and more recent films.
To mark the occasion, the company also researched what locations Brits would like to see featured next.

Top pics were the Lake District, with 14 per cent of people saying this was their preferred location.
This was followed by Loch Ness and Edinburgh Castle tied at ten per cent each.
The research also found that more than two-fifths of Brits are completely unaware that many Disney films and park attractions are based on real-world locations.
Rebecca Cline, director of the Walt Disney Archives, said: “Towards the end of his life, Walt Disney was honoured as the ‘Showman of the World’. It was a very apt honour, as he was fascinated and inspired by everything he experienced and saw, no matter where it was. As he once said himself, ‘Always, as you travel, assimilate the sounds and sights of the world.’ And we have all benefited from his love of cultures the world over.”
