Emergency services have been called to an incident on Brighton beach.
Police officers and ambulance crews are understood to be at the scene of the incident on the seafront, near Shelter Hall.
One witness said that a gazebo had been set up on the beach near the water and that four police cars are in attendance.
Sussex Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service have been contacted for comment.
