A Starbucks coffee shop in the city centre has closed its doors.
The café in Jubilee Street, Brighton, closed earlier this week and will remain closed for several weeks.
The interior of the shop has been gutted with the famous Starbucks branding removed from the site as the renovation gets underway.
Customers have been promised a “fresh and bright new look” when the shop reopens on September 20.
For those needing their caffeine fix, the nearest Starbucks stores are in St James’s Street and Western Road.
A spokeswoman for Cobra Coffee, the franchisee that owns the branch, said: “We look forward to welcoming people back into the store following its major refurbishment, which will include a fresh and bright new look with revamped decor.
“There will be new furniture in the customer seating area and a new store counter layout with refreshed counter displays and coffee machines for customers to enjoy a great cup of coffee.”
Starbucks has five other locations across Brighton and Hove, including in London Road and Brighton Marina.
