A person has climbed on to the roof of Hove Town Hall this evening.
Police and fire crews are dealing with an incident after a person climbed up scaffolding on the council building earlier today (September 5).
The area surrounding the town hall has been cordoned off while emergency services work at the scene.

It is not yet clear why the person climbed the building though police officers appear to be communicating with the individual.
Members of the public are advised to stay away from the area.
Sussex Police and East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service have been contacted for comment.
