A woman was reportedly sexually assaulted while walking her dog in a town centre garden.
She said she was approached from behind by an unknown man who attempted to grab her before running away from the scene.
The man reportedly fled the scene with two other men following the late-night assault on Friday, August 4.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: “Police are investigating after a woman reported being sexually assaulted by a man as she walked her dog in Bognor.
“The victim was approached from behind in The Steyne by an unknown man who attempted to grab her on Friday, August 4, at about 10.10pm.

“When she turned around, he and two other men were running away in the direction of the town centre. She sustained a minor injury.
Sussex Police Constable William Parker added: "We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed or has any information about this incident. We have increased our presence in the area since this report.”
