A fire has broken out in wooded area on the outskirts of Brighton with smoke filling the air.
A black plume of smoke could be seen near houses in Woodingdean as firefighters rushed to the scene of an incident near Warren Road.
Flames could be seen coming from the building as more fire was spotted between trees in the area.
It is currently unclear what has caused the fire but The Argus understands this may be affecting a nursing home in the area.

A spokeswoman for East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were called at 3.18pm to reports of a fire at a property on Warren Road, Woodingdean, Brighton.
“Crews are in attendance.”
Traffic is beginning to queue on Warren Road as firefighters continue to deal with the incident.
