A number of Sussex beaches have been named among the best in the UK.
Brighton, Seaford, Bexhill and Camber Sands were all among a study which compiled the top 20 best beaches in the country based on factors including water quality and the number of nearby cafes.
Brighton beach also ranked top for the number of nearby car parks as well as being joint top for the number of cafes a stone’s throw from the seaside.
Based on the survey of over 300 beaches in the UK, Brighton was ranked the tenth best in the UK, with Seaford Bay ranked ninth.
