A new ride has opened to visitors on Brighton Palace Pier.
The Rolling Tug, sited at the end of the pier, is designed like a boat and offers views out to sea.
The ride, which travels on a track and spins around, is described as fun for all the family, with children taller than 0.9 meters able to get onboard.
The new ride is based at the former site of the Booster ride, which was dismantled and removed in January.
The ride, which first opened in April 2006, catapulted riders 130 feet into the air and boasted the “best views of Brighton”.
However, owners of the Brighton Palace Pier have said that the new ride is only a temporary replacement for the Booster, with hopes of a new thrill ride to open next year.
A spokeswoman for Brighton Palace Pier said: “We are still looking at a new thrill ride, like a Booster, for next year - they just take a long time to manufacture.”
