A road has been closed after a crash involving a bus and two cars.
The Stagecoach bus suffered significant damage to the front of the vehicle with smashed glass and damage to the bodywork.
Two other cars, a blue Peugeot and red Nissan, had their windows smashed and suffered significant damage to the back of the cars.
Multiple emergency service vehicles including police cars and ambulances attended the scene and closed sections of Victoria Drive in Eastbourne near the crossroads with Beechy Avenue.
Vehicle removal vans were also pictured at the scene of the crash.
It is currently unclear how the crash occurred.
A Stagecoach spokesman said: “We can confirm that a route 1 bus was involved in a road traffic collision at around 8am this morning near the junction of Green Street and Victoria Drive.
“Our first thoughts are for those involved in the accident. We are working with Sussex Police to understand exactly what happened."
Sussex Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service were also approached for comment.
