A new coffee shop is being planned for a former betting shop.
Chasing Rabbits is planning to open in George Street, Hove, and has submitted documents to the city council for approval.
The coffee shop would take over what is currently an empty unit in George Street.
It was previously a William Hill betting shop but closed some three years ago.
Planning documents show the coffee shop owners have applied to change the use.
Designs for the coffee shop show a green design on the exterior with brown and white clouds and a dog logo.

The owners have also applied for permission to install a retractable awning at the front of the shop.
It has a holding website which says the business is “coming soon to Hove”.
It would be one of two new openings in George Street in coming months with a new pub taking over from the former Wetherspoon, The Cliftonville Inn.
No date has currently been given for the opening of the site.
A determination deadline has been set for the plans on September 20.
