Pride festivities could face wet and windy weather this weekend.
Celebrations for Brighton Pride return to the city with its annual parade, party in Kemp Town and festival of Preston Park.
However, the Met Office currently forecasts heavy rain during the early afternoon, with showers continuing into the evening.
The poor weather could clash with the start of the Pride parade, which sets off from Hove Lawns at 11am and also dampen celebrations at the festival in Preston Park.
There is better news for those hoping to attend Sunday’s celebrations, with sunny intervals anticipated throughout the day, with temperatures reaching a high of 19C.

Meteorologist Alex Deakin said: “A deep area of low pressure will bring a wet and windy spell across the country as we go through the first half of the weekend.
“There are some signs of something a little drier and brighter on the horizon as we go into next week.”
