A section of the A259 which was shut off after the fire at the Royal Albion hotel is set to reopen.
The road is blocked in both directions as demolition works continue to the Grade II listed building which went up in flames last month.
Now, Brighton and Hove City Council has announced that part of the road will re-open tomorrow evening.
The westbound carriageway of Grand Junction Avenue, the side furthest away from the hotel, will reopen on Thursday evening.

However, traffic diversions will still remain in place heading eastbound on the road.
The A259 will then once again be closed on Saturday from 9am to 4pm to accommodate the Pride parade.
Diversions have been in place since the Royal Albion Hotel suffered significant damage following a fire which ripped through the building.
The decision was made to demolish the building which was deemed unsafe after the fire. The demolition work is expected to continue for a number of weeks.
