A man has been arrested following an incident outside a city centre supermarket.
Police were called to Morrisons in St James’s Street, Brighton, on Sunday afternoon following reports of a disturbance.
Officers were seen outside the supermarket in Kemp Town speaking to a man.
A 55-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault, making threats and using threatening or abusive behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress.
He has been bailed, pending further enquiries.
Witnesses or anyone with information regarding the incident, which took place on July 30 at 4.30pm, should report it to police online, quoting serial 1160 of 30/07.
