Brighton has been rated as having one of the best nightlife “vibes” of any city in the country.
It was named among the best for a night out and ranked highly in categories including best sense of style and best food.
Brighton was also found to be one of the best cities on the South Coast, topped only by Reading for the best night out.
Following the survey by tech company Honor, chief executive Bond Zhang said: “A good vibe not only enhances the quality of life for residents but also entices tourists and businesses, leading to economic growth and cultural exchange.

“The importance of a city having a good vibe cannot be overstated, for it is the beating heart that fuels its success and makes it a place truly worth calling home.”
Brighton and Hove was ranked seventh for the “best vibe” of a city in the UK and was among the top ten cities with the best music scene.
The city was also among the highest for its sense of style and having some of the best food in the UK.
Overall, Newcastle was found to be the best city for nightlife in the country.
