A plane flying a banner with a birthday message for Fatboy Slim was spotted above the seafront.
The DJ, whose real name is Norman Cook, marked his 60th birthday with a beachfront party at his home in Western Esplanade in Hove, often referred to as Millionaires’ Row.
According to MailOnline, around 180 of his friends and family were invited to the birthday bash last night, where the performer was understood to be providing music.
A firework display also took place on the beach at midnight.
As Fatboy enjoyed the festivities, a plane, carrying a banner which said “Happy Birthday Norm” was spotted in the skies above his home yesterday evening.
A source told MailOnline that “months of planning” had gone into the party last night.
“It’s not every day you turn 60 and he wants to make the most of reaching the milestone age,” the source said.
The Praise You performer will celebrate his birthday tomorrow before setting off on a series of tour dates across Europe next month and heading to America for a number of gigs in September.
