Festivalgoers were dazzled by a fireworks display along the seafront.
Crowds gathered along the shore in Worthing to see the fireworks set off from the end of the pier last night as part of the Worthing Lions summer festival.
The festival has seen thousands visit its markets, as well as its range of classic cars and its scooter rally.
The summer festival raises funds to support the local community.
The festivities continue today with a market on the promenade, a funfair near the pier and entertainment on the seafront.
The Worthing Lions, a group of volunteers dedicated to helping the community, are involved in organising numerous charitable and social activities throughout the year.
