Some of the vendors for a town’s new “Ibiza” inspired food hall have been announced.

Forest Row will open in Worthing’s former Beales store on the side facing into the Montague Centre this summer.

Plans were also announced this week for new members club The Stable Yard on the other side of the building, which faces onto South Street.

The club, which is expected to open in December, will include a gym-spa, business hotel with meeting rooms, cocktail bar, Japanese restaurant and “Insta-worthy” rooftop terrace.

Seven establishments will launch in the food hall with Forest Row so far announcing four.

Bosses hope to open the hall this August.

A spokesman said Brighton’s Block Bar will be launching a New York-style deli sandwich concept with slow-cooked meats.

Worthing-based Spanish restaurant Rincon De Pepe will also launch in the hall with a new tapas street food offering.

And Caribbean and Spanish restaurant El Caribeno as well as The Beef Guy with its new gourmet hot dog brand is also joining the venture.

A spokesman for Forest Row said: “Think Ibiza stunning walled garden, beautiful palms and flowers with crisp white walls and old slate roofs, exposed timbers.”

The building has remained empty since Beales collapsed into administration in January 2020 after it was unable to secure a last-minute buyer.
