A cement lorry has rolled over near a roundabout with its contents spilling onto the side of the road.
The lorry has overturned at the exit of the busy roundabout causing emergency services to rush to the scene of the incident.
Parts of the A24 and the Findon roundabout have been partially blocked due to the incident with police officers seen in the emergency response.
West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service and South East Coast Ambulance Service are also on the scene.
A fire service spokesman said: "We are attending the scene of a road traffic collision on the A24 Findon. The A24 Southbound Findon Roundabout is closed.
"Crews from Worthing Fire and Rescue Service, Sussex Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service are attending on scene alongside a Heavy Rescue Tender.
"Please stay away from the area."
Sections of the road remain closed while the emergency response is ongoing.
A South East Coast Ambulance Service spokesman said: "Secamb attended the scene following reports of an HGV had overturned on the A280 at Long Furlong shortly before 8.15am today.
"One patient was assessed for believed to be minor injuries before being taken to Worthing Hospital for further checks."
West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service were also approached for comment.
