Two 104-year-olds have marked their birthdays with a joint celebration.

Audrey Spriggs and George Goble are both residents at Church Farm Care Home in Church Farm Lane, East Wittering, and their birthdays are just two days apart, on July 15 and 17.

Staff at the care home team planned a shared party at the care home for Audrey and George on Friday, July 14.

They were joined by their fellow residents for an afternoon of music, including I Was Born Under A Wanderin’ Star, George’s favourite song and Audrey’s, which is You Are My Sunshine.

Kitchen staff baked a special 104 cake for the pair to celebrate their shared milestone.

"We are delighted to be able to celebrate these milestones with Audrey and George,” said Doreen Saunders, manager at Church Farm.
