Brighton is the most Instagram obsessed city in the country, a survey has found.
Research shows that residents of the city have searched for the social media platform the most over the past year.
However, wider research found that the area was one of the least social media-obsessed in the UK, with some of the lowest social media searches per capita.
Across the UK, Brighton ranked in the bottom 15 cities surveyed for social media searches in the UK.
Approximately 99,000 searches were made for social media platforms in Brighton per 100,000 people in the city.

A spokeswoman for PlayOJO, who commissioned the findings, said: "Social media has become a fundamental part of our day-to-day lives and enables us to communicate and socialise with friends, family and anyone across the world at the touch of a button, which is why many rely on these apps to connect and develop our relationships at any chosen time.
"It is only natural that some cities are drawn to using social media more than others. This study offers an exciting glance at which cities across the UK are invested in these platforms the most, with Norwich topping the list and proving to have more interest in social media than some of the country's largest cities."
