Five Sussex beaches have ranked in the top ten for the warmest waters in the country.
In a new survey, beaches in England and Wales have been ranked on several factors including water quality and facilities such as deck chair hire and lifeguards.
The beach with the warmest waters in Sussex is Bognor with temperatures of up to 17.8C.
In sixth and seventh are Worthing and Hastings beaches which have the warmest sea temperatures of 17.7 and 17.6C respectively.

Just making it in the top ten are Eastbourne and Littlehampton.
Littlehampton’s West Beach and Eastbourne beach recorded top temperatures of 17.4C.
The research was conducted by Millets, the outdoor clothing and camping gear retailer.
A spokesman for the company said: “Bognor Regis beach makes the top three - the warmest water temperature recorded at the beach was 17.8C.
"With lifeguard service provided and parking costs of £5.50 for up to 4 hours, the beach is great for a summer day trip.”

- Clacton-on-Sea - 18.2C
- Folkestone - 18C
- Bognor Regis - 17.8C
- Barry Island, Whitmore Bay - 17.7C
- Margate - 17.7C
- Worthing - 17.7C
- Hastings - 17.6C
- Southend-on-Sea, Jubilee Beach - 17.4C
- Eastbourne - 17.4C
- Littlehampton, West Beach - 17.4C
