Former glamour model Katie Price suffered significant injuries while on holiday in Turkey with her children back in 2020 - and now she has revealed how it happened.
Her feet were left broken, which led to her being confined to a wheelchair for several weeks.
Initially, Katie told that she had jumped over a wall without realising there was a steep 20-foot drop on the other side.
However, in a recent interview on the podcast Where There’s A Will, There’s A Wake with Kathy Burke, she revealed that the accident occurred while she was pretending to be a horse.
She said: "I was pretending to be a horse. I jumped over the bush, it was dark, I didn’t know there was a 20-foot drop into an underground car park."
The severity of her injuries left doctors with the grim prognosis that she would never walk again, and that she had 'no idea' how she survived the fall.
Katie shared some of her other near-death experiences during the interview.
Among these incidents were multiple car crashes, where she miraculously walked away without any injuries.
She said: "I always predicted I’d die in a car crash. I’ve always said that. And the amount of near-death experiences and car crashes I’ve had, I’ve always come out without a scratch on me."
In 2011, she had been in the car when her then-boyfriend Leandro Penna crashed into two horses which had escaped and ran into the road.
‘The airbags didn’t go off, nothing happened to me. I’ve had a lot of car accidents… I’m still here,’ she said.
Kathy quipped that Katie's 'bosoms' might have been what saved her, with Price agreeing that they make 'good airbags'.
Price, who is believed to have undergone her 16th boob job earlier this year, said: "And they’re big ones at the minute, they’ve been done again.
"I go over the top, of course."
