Police have confirmed that everyone in the Royal Albion hotel at the time of the fire have been accounted for.
Sussex Police officers had been told there were five rooms in the hotel in King's Road, Brighton, where the status of guests was unconfirmed.
On Sunday, George O’Reilly, group commander at East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service, told The Argus he was yet to receive confirmation everyone left the hotel safely.
He said: “We haven’t had confirmation that all of the rooms were evacuated prior to us arriving.
“It’s not uncommon in a hotel so we’re working with the management and police to track down those guests who are staying here.
“There are people still unaccounted for but I’m confident it’s just a case that we need to get hold of them, so the sooner we do that the better.”
Now, Sussex Police have confirmed that all have been located safe and well.
A spokesman for the force said: "Police were made aware of five rooms where occupants had initially not been accounted for, but they have now all been located safe and well."
