Demolition crews are arriving at the Royal Albion hotel this morning.
Civil engineer contractors have brought a large forklift-type vehicle inside the cordon along with a huge skip.
Firefighters were unable to access the destroyed west wing of the building to fully extinguish the fire due to structural safety fears.

It means the front walls of the old building need to be torn down.
Work was originally planned to take place last night but the company was not available.
Equipment began to arrive in Kings Road at around 9am, with more brought to the scene throughout the morning.
