These are some of the best restaurants to celebrate results success in Brighton this summer. 

These slightly more high end dining options are perfect when using mum and dad’s credit card, especially when they can’t say no due to exam victories. 

With graduation quickly approaching at the end of the month, we've found eight of the best restaurants for your special occasion.

1. Cin Cin 

Cin Cin started out in a 1972 Fiat 850 van at a food festival in Brighton which makes it the perfect place to celebrate your local success. 

They have a wide range of menu options that cater to all dietary requirements and channel authentic Italian vibes. 

They can be found on Western Road, Hove and they offer a "secluded room perfect for celebrations”. 


2. Riddle and Finns The Beach 

A top place for champagne and seafood in Brighton with uninterrupted views of the pier. It doesn’t get much better than this for celebrations.  

Riddle & Finns have restaurants both on King's Road and Meeting House Lane. They source local seafood, specialise in their oyster selection and offer vegetarian options. 


3. 64 degrees 

64 degrees is known for its tasting menu with an open kitchen by Great British Menu 2017 winner chef Michael Bremner. 

The restaurant, in Meeting House Lane, has won a wide range of awards, with the tasting menu itself being reviewed as “absolutely sensation”. The menu is £85 per person with the wine flight for £65. 

Perfect for a special occasion and the bank of mum and dad.

4. Six 

Six is a highly reviewed restaurant on Western Road which serves organic dishes sourced from local and family farms. 

Their dishes range from organic hot buddha bowls to a wide range of pastas. 

They also host the original bottomless Prosecco brunch in Brighton everyday from 10am to 3pm if you are looking to start the party early. 


5. Ivy Asia 

Located in Ship Street this restaurant offers a wide range of sushi and cocktails. The interior is beautiful with colourful Asian fabrics scattered across the restaurant, ideal for Mum’s Facebook photos. 

Their menu is as eccentric as their decorations and they offer a sharing experience for four people which is £58 per person.

6. Shelter Hall 

A slightly more casual option, maybe a good pick if your results were lower than expected and don’t think it’s appropriate to break the bank account. 

The seven kitchens are all run by local chefs and provide a wide range of food options and there is often live music

The options range from contemporary Egyptian street food to Patty Guy which was founded by MasterChef winner Kenny Tutt who is local from Worthing. 


7. Plateau 

Plateau is found in The Lanes and provides options for you to eat or drink depending on your mood and plans for the day. 

This natural wine bar in Bartholomews has a menu full of European serving plates and a wide range of wines and cocktails. 

They even serve a cocktail that uses bacon washed vodka which is surely a reason in itself for a visit.

8. Burnt Orange 

Burnt Orange is an aesthetic central spot in Middle Street, described on their website as a “the grown-up hangout that’s open all day and just the right amount of night.”

You can book a late night table for drinks from 10pm Thursday - Saturday or try their experience menu which is £37 per person for sharing and there is a vegetarian option available.
