The Red Arrows are set to fly over the county both today and tomorrow - and here's everything you need to know.

The Royal Air Force's acrobatic team will attend the Goodwood Festival Of Speed today, Thursday, and tomorrow to mark the start of the motoring weekend.

The nation's flagship eight jets will soar over the festival and across Sussex at around 11.30am today and 11.15am tomorrow.

The red, white and blue smoke will be seen above the car festival this morning and tomorrow morning.

The fleet of jets will take off from Farnborough Airport in Hampshire at 11.22am this morning and make their way to the coast to fly over Goodwood at 11.30am.

They will then fly over Chichester, East Wittering and Littlehampton before heading back to base.

Squadron Leader Tom Bould, team leader and Red 1 of the Red Arrows, said: "It’s always spectacular to display at the Festival of Speed. In 2023, our updated display will once again aim to inspire those watching with a combination of precision manoeuvres and dynamic loops and rolls.

"Visiting on the ground after our display and meeting visitors is always a real highlight and humbling for the team and is a brilliant opportunity to explain more about the work of the Red Arrows and Royal Air Force.”
