A section of road is at a standstill as emergency services are investigating a “leaking” lorry.
The southbound junction of the A24 near Washington has been closed by emergency services as fire crews investigated the lorry carrying a metal container.
The road, between Washington and Findon, is seeing major traffic backing up with two lanes of vehicles queuing for several miles.

The A24 was reported closed at 10.30am this morning and currently remains closed heading towards Findon.
Sussex Police and West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service were approached for comment.
