A pasta takeaway service which featured on Dragon’s Den has launched in the city.
Pasta Evangelists grew from one site in East London to 40 across the UK.
Pasta Evangelists has made the move to Portland Road in Hove and is offering new customers 25 per cent off their first Deliveroo order.
The business was started by entrepreneurs Finn Lagun and Alessandro Savelli who pitched the idea on BBC’s Dragon’s Den in 2018 but walked away empty handed.
Pasta Evangelists asked for £75,000 from the Dragons for a 2.5 per cent cut of their business, but were unsuccessful.
The business has grown to 40 different sites across the UK since it started in 2016.
Pasta Evangelists serves a variety of pasta dishes, from carbonara to lobster, crab and prawn tortelloni.
A spokeswoman for Pasta Evangelists said: “Pasta Evangelists serve some of the UK’s freshest, artisanal pasta alongside high-quality sauces, inviting Brits to experience restaurant-quality pasta with minimal fuss.
