Brighton and Hove City Council has released its weekly list of planning applications.

These applications, filed between June 26 and July 2, range from the construction of new buildings to the replacement of windows and doors in existing structures.

Among the notable applications are the formation of a second floor to extend existing flats in Brunswick Street, and the conversion of office space into residential units in Lansdowne Place.

Additionally, there are applications for the creation of a vehicle crossover and hardstanding in Denmark Villas to form off-street parking, and the installation of a rear conservatory in Wilkinson Close.

In the Brunswick and Adelaide area, applications include the replacement of gas supply pipes at Brunswick Place, and the replacement of windows in York Road.

In Kemptown, there are applications for the extension of dormers at Chichester Terrace and remedial works to rear balconies at Sussex Square.

A property at Chesham Place is planning to replace its lathe and plaster ceiling with a new sound and fire resistant plasterboard ceiling.

In Preston Park, the Centenary House in Cumberland Road is seeking to replace its timber sash windows with UPVC windows.

In the Regency area, applications include the installation of a UK Power Network external distribution cupboard in Clarence Square, the replacement of windows at the Queens Hotel in Kings Road, and various external alterations at inEast Street.

In West Hill and North Laine, applications involve the conversion of artists studios into a self-contained flat at York Place.

In Westbourne and Poets' Corner, there are applications for the replacement of windows in Sackville Road and the installation of new windows in Davigdor Road.

Other areas with applications include Hollingdean and Fiveways, Patcham and Hollingbury, Queen's Park, Rottingdean and West Saltdean, South Portslade, Westdene and Hove Park, Wish, and Woodingdean.
