A bakery is opening its latest branch on the site of a pizza restaurant.
Gail’s Bakery opens today in Carfax in the centre of Horsham.
The chain has many outlets in London but this will be the third in the county.
Brighton’s New Road store and the branch in Church Road, Hove, have both proved popular.
The new bakery has taken over the site of a former Prezzo, next to NatWest.
As well as breads and pastries, the café will serve sandwiches, cakes and coffee.
It will be open from 7am to 6pm weekdays and from 7am to 7pm on Saturday. Sunday’s opening hours are slightly shorter from 8am to 6pm.

Seating was already in place outside the front of the branch yesterday.
There is also a roof terrace where customers can enjoy their food and drink in the sun.
A post on Facebook revealing the announcement garnered more than 200 likes, with many residents sharing positive feelings about the opening.
Mike Lower, from Horsham, said: “It’s looking nice inside and I think it’s going to be a good addition to Horsham.”
