Three men were treated for stab wounds after a fight in the early hours reported to involve a “machete”.
The group of young men were caught on camera brawling in the street near Portland Road in Worthing.
Police were called to the scene and the men were taken to hospital and treated for wounds alongside a fourth man who suffered a head injury.
Two men were arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with one remaining in custody.
In a video circulating on social media, four men can be seen standing in the street and shouting at each other.
The description of the video suggests that one man was attacked with a “machete” during the incident.

A Sussex Police spokesman said: “Police received multiple reports of a group of people fighting in the vicinity of Portland Road, Worthing, around 1.05am on Saturday.
“Officers swiftly responded to the scene to identify any suspects, victims and witnesses, and to ensure the safety of the wider public.
“Four men were treated in hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, three for stab wounds and a fourth for a head injury.
“A 19-year-old man from Brighton was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and released on conditional bail until 30 September.
“A 19-year-old man from Worthing, arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm, remains in police custody at this time.
