Brighton and Hove's new council leader Bella Sankey has spoken to The Argus in an interview set to be released on Monday.
She sat down with reporter Daniel Green at our North Laine Brighton office to explain her goals for change and how the city should be ambitious about what we can achieve.
The interview comes after Labour took full control of the council, knocking the Green party from power in May's elections.
The first story from this in-depth interview will be published on Monday, outlining what has happened so far and why the council is taking action straight away on certain issues.
That will be followed by a series of articles this week, bringing you every detail about the future and what Cllr Sankey wants to achieve on a series of hot topics:
- She talks about the Greens and what the city needs from Government
- A big update on the future of our public toilets
- There's the thorny issue of cycle lanes and the controversy about what to do next
- Cllr Sankey certainly pulls no punches when she talks about the legacy of the Greens and their reaction to local election defeat
