The top restaurants in the city for takeaways have been unveiled in new data.
From burgers to Gujurati food to gyros, Brighton’s favourite delivery cuisines are diverse.
The data, from Uber Eats, reveals the restaurants in the city with the most orders, making them some of the most popular.
It comes as the brand is expanding in the city and across the county.
In the past two years, the number of restaurants partnering with the delivery platform in the county has grown by 47 per cent, and the company’s senior director is “excited” by the growth.
Matt Price, senior director at Uber Eats told The Argus: “The growth in Brighton and Sussex is really exciting.
“We are based up in London but I came down to Brighton last month to experience the diverse and vibrant food scene the city has first hand and I was wowed.”

Uber Eats operates in more than 2,300 restaurants in Brighton and Sussex and that number is continuing to grow.
“We are investing our own money to grow in Brighton and we are focusing on working with small and medium businesses which are some of the most loved in the city,” said Mr Price.
Of the more than 2,000 restaurants using Uber Eats in the county, more than half are small and medium businesses.
Mr Price said: “We always have a lot of people interested in joining the platform and people are seeing our activity in the city which is attracting more partnerships.
“We have teams on the ground in Brighton who know the food scene there and we are proud of the work they are doing to work with even more restaurants.”
As the app expands in the city, Mr Price said there are more and more employment opportunities.
“When we reach more restaurants we also bring jobs to the city with new drivers delivering meals," he said.
“In the current economic climate, the flexibility delivering offers by being your own boss is valued even more.”
Some of the newest additions to Brighton's Uber Eats offering are Cutie Pies, the food offering at Star and Garter pub in Kings Road, and Nanninella, a popular pizza restaurant in Preston Street.
The most popular independent restaurants for Uber Eats deliveries in Brighton are:
- Burger Brothers
- Lost Boys Land
- Carlito Burrito
- Santorini Gyros
- Haraka by Kitgum
