A man who crashed a rare Aston Martin has been charged on suspicion of drink driving.
Jeremy Casson, 70, was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving following the crash, which happened at around 4.40pm on Friday.
The Aston Martin, which is one of 139 left in the UK with an MOT, crashed on a corner of the A272 near Wisborough Green which is near Billingshurst.
Casson, retired, of Richmond-upon-Thames in London, has been charged with driving while over the legal alcohol limit.
He is due to appear before West Sussex Magistrates’ Court on July 4 to answer the charge.
Sussex Police put police tape around the vintage car, which was waiting to be recovered.
