A cyclist has died while taking part in the London to Brighton Bike Ride.
The rider died in the Smallfield area of Surrey on the way to Brighton, organisers British Heart Foundation confirmed.
Charmaine Griffiths, chief executive of the BHF, said: "Our deepest sympathies are with the rider's loved ones."
The person's next of kin have been informed and an investigation is under way.

The circumstances around the death have not been revealed.
Last year, 14,000 people took part in the London to Brighton bike ride.
The first riders crossed the finish line just after 9am today.
Surrey Police have been approached for comment.
