A burglar who broke into a home late at night scattered food across lawn before making off.
A man was woken by a radio in the lounge of his home in Aldergrove Cottages, Crowborough, at 3am on Saturday, June 10.
When he went to investigate, he discovered the back door open and indications that the offender had entered through a kitchen window.
It appears that nothing was stolen, but food was scattered on the lawn outside.
Police and a crime scene examiner visited the scene and provided home security advice.
