Emergency services rushed to meet a plane on the tarmac at Gatwick in a late night incident response.
Police, ambulance services and fire services all met the easyJet plane at the gate.
A police spokesman said that the emergency response was due to a medical incident suffered by a passenger on the plane.
The spokesman said on Twitter: “On our last shift, with partners, we responded to a medical incident on an aircraft.
“Great to see Sussex Police, Gatwick Fire and Rescue Service, South East Coast Ambulance Service and Gatwick Airport all working together to help the person involved.”
The emergency response is believed to have happened overnight on Wednesday.
