A new bar and grill is set to open this summer offering a range of Turkish and Middle Eastern food on the seafront.
Aydo Lounge and Grill will have a variety of seafood and grilled meat dishes alongside classic summer meals including houmous, kebabs and falafels.
The grill, on the boardwalk at Brighton Marina, is one of the latest openings and takes over from an old American bar and grill site.
Aydin Unat, owner of the restaurant, said: “I think the marina has potential. It’s a really good location and there was something missing there.
“We want people to come in and enjoy their food. It will be fine dining and we want to open as soon as possible.

“In the summer sun people are happier and we want to welcome everyone as soon as we can.”
Planning documents for the opening show plans for a large, illuminated sign sitting right next to the water in Brighton Marina.
The grill’s website promises “seafood variety alongside grilled dishes with a Turkish and Middle Eastern twist” as well as alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
Aydo Lounge has taken over the unit previously owned by Coast to Coast, an American grill which offered a range of steak, burgers and pizzas.
Plans are for the lounge and grill to open in July.
