Volunteers, community members and customers came together to celebrate a cafe's 20th anniversary.
Java Community Cafe in Warren Way, Woodingdean, marked the special occasion with a party, with free food and drinks as a thank you for everyone’s support over the last two decades.
It is believed to be the longest-running community cafe of its type in the city.

Manager Charlotte Curd said: “It was a fantastic afternoon, with many old faces popping by to congratulate us on our incredible milestone.
“It hasn’t always been plain sailing but we have weathered many storms.
“We hope to still be here in another 20 years with the support of our incredible community in Woodingdean.”
The cafe works with volunteers from all over the city and has helped to find employment for many previous volunteers.
