Three people have died and four have been taken to hospital after two cars collided on the A285.
Police were called to the incident in Duncton, near Chichester, at around 7.30pm last night.
The crash involved a white BMW 220 and a grey Mercedes C200 between Keepers Cottage and Little Farm Campsite.
Three people from the BMW were declared dead at the scene of the crash, with a fourth taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Three occupants of the Mercedes have also been taken to hospital - one with life-threatening injuries, one with serious injuries and a third with minor injuries.

A section of the road was closed for several hours overnight but has since reopened.
Anyone who saw either vehicle being driven in the area around the time of the crash, or captured any relevant footage on dash cams, is urged to contact police by emailing collision.appeal@sussex.police.uk, quoting serial 1542 of 10/06.
