A national coffee and food chain has revealed when it will open its new site in Worthing.
Pret A Manger confirmed it will open its first site in the town tomorrow.
The shop in Montague Street has created 20 jobs in the community and Pret said the opening comes as part of its “ambitious” plans to double the size of its business.
The store is in the former Topshop unit which has remained empty since the collapse of the fashion retailer’s owner Arcadia Group in 2021.

Guy Meakin, shops and franchise director, said last September as the company announced the new site: “We have ambitious plans at Pret to double the size of our business and bring the joy of our freshly made food and organic coffee to even more people around the UK.”
“As part of our ongoing work to help alleviate homelessness and poverty, surplus freshly made food will be donated at the end of each day to local charities via The Pret Foundation in addition to a further donation from opening week sales.”
