A nightmare week which saw children throw water balloons at passing cars ended with a bust up between the youths and a member of the public.
Officers began responding to reports of young people lobbing water bombs at innocent people as they walked across The Level, Brighton.
They also said that they were throwing the balloons at passing cars and nearby buses.
But things came to a climax when police were called to the park at around 6.45pm on Sunday (June 4) to a report of an altercation between the children and a member of the public.
