A Sussex Police officer has pleaded not guilty to charges of attempted rape and sexual assault.
PC Daniel Julian, of Pulborough, West Sussex, appeared at Lewes Crown Court on Friday.
The 45-year-old entered not guilty pleas to the charges of attempted rape, causing a woman to engage with sexual activity without consent and sexual assault.

The offences are alleged to have taken place in Kent in August 2021, when the officer was off duty.
Julian was suspended from duty by Sussex Police after he was charged in April.
A trial date has been set for April 2, 2024.
