A road has reopened after it was closed for emergency repairs following a tanker breaking down.
Station Road in Berwick, near Polegate, was closed at the level crossing after a farming vehicle broke down on the train line yesterday morning (May 30).
The tanker was eventually freed by around 2pm and all lines reopened.
The closure stayed in place overnight while emergency repairs took place.

A spokesman for Southern Rail said: "A tractor pulling a tanker of slurry broke down on the level crossing this morning.
“It was removed in the early afternoon, and train services resumed after a safety check.
"Unfortunately, however, the trailer had damaged the road surface and the crossing cannot be opened to road or pedestrian traffic until around 7.30am tomorrow, once repairs are completed.
"While trains were halted, we were able to arrange some replacement buses and ticket acceptance on local bus services, but there has been considerable inconvenience to passengers and road users and we thank everyone for their patience."
The road and level crossing have now reopened, but no trains are running in Sussex due to an Aslef strike.
